Is it Love or Lust? How to tell what she’s thinking!
Have you been spending time with a woman you REALLY like and been having a lot of very spicy fun – but you really haven’t had the nerve to ask what she really thinks about the relationship? Is it blossoming love for her too – or just a simple case of luscious lust?
Years ago it was UNHEARD of for a woman to simply enjoy being with a man for physical pleasure , and yet be totally DISINTERESTED in having anything more significant come from it. Talk about turn about is fair play, huh? Today – lots of my really attractive girl friends just want the physical closeness and pure pleasure of a healthy intimate relationship, yet amongst our friends, will openly lament wanting to meet a quality guy. Funny, right? Just like your friends I’m sure – but my guess is when it comes to some of the women I’m talking about, you would like something a bit more than a fling!
How can you tell what she’s thinking? Easy! Does she call you at 2PM – or 2AM? Does she care about your opinion on things happening in the world, or just what you can accomplish in the bedroom? When was the last meal she made for you, the last book you read together, the last talk about sense and spirituality? Any of these? Ever? If not, you’re in trouble! It’s lust – and guess what? Your time is probably short with her. Lustful partners are easily replaced! But if she calls you in mid afternoon, and still calls out for you in the middle of the night as well – you might be on to something..:-) Does she wear your clothes to bed? A woman in love ALWAYS picks an item of clothing to remind her of the man who shares her bed and wears it when he’s not there. If you’ve never seen her in one of your shirts, you are in trouble again..:-)
Seriously though, love is quite easy to spot – and if you are feeling it, you should notice that she is as well. And if you aren’t sure, you better learn to figure it out pretty quick, or she’ll be moving on to greener pastures quicker than it takes you to read the rest of this sentence. Hey, you like your women sexy and independent, right? Don’t worry, if you’ve been following what I’ve been sharing with you for the past two weeks, I’m sure in YOUR case it’s love AND lust! Why Online Dating Doesn’t Work: The Half Empty Approach to Meeting Your Match
I had a really interesting (and pretty frustrating) conversation with a good friend of mine the other day. We were chatting about her sister, who just met a great guy on a popular online dating site, and after only about three months of dating, the boyfriend called my friends father to ask for permission to marry his daughter! So all of us are pretty excited for her, with the exception of her very own sister. I kept asking her what the problem was, he’s a cute guy, good job, seems to be VERY nice and definitely treats this girl like complete gold. My friend kept saying – “she met him online. Online dating doesn’t work! They will never make it.”
The more I listened to her complain, the clearer it became to me. She got married at a pretty early age (23) and that was close to 8 years ago, BEFORE the online dating craze really hit high gear. Back then, I guess there was a pretty big stigma about meeting people online, and she just hasn’t forgotten it. She is completely unable to recognize that online dating DOES work, just as well and successfully as regular dating does. Quite simply, where you ORIGINALLY meet someone has very little to do with the future of the relationship. It’s what happens in the little moments in between and forever more that really matter, right?
So the next time you come across an online dating scrooge, be it a jealous friend about all of the FUN you are having, a concerned parent, or even your own INNER voice debating whether online dating is a worthwhile road to explore…..STOP! Simply recognize that some people (even yourself, silly.:-) are resistant to change…And as Bob Dylan sang many moons back – the times, they are a changin’.! Online dating is here, it’s only going to become even MORE popular with future generations and if you have been looking for love in all the wrong places, it’s about time you made the plunge! You’ll thank me for it later, I promise!
