And you thought those new niche sites targeting ONLY hispanic women who love short asian men was considered NICHE dating…didn't you?  Well, now there is a dating site set up STRICTLY for farmers and their flock.  (no pun intended..;-)  This looks to be launching in the UK according to the press release and site info - although who knows, Kansas may not be far off!  You can check out the full story at the link below:

(And no….don't let them scare you…there is NO bigger risk finding love on the internet as there is at the corner bar after 8 shots of tequila and a basket of bad chicken wings, and that's just for HAPPY hour..;-)

So if you are just getting started with picking the perfect online dating to meet your elusive soul mate, keep this simple but potently powerful personality tip in mind:


Don't take ANYTHING personally.

People have STUFF. Just because you posted your very best picture of yourself looking absolutely fab on the beach last summer, with a killer tan and in that little itty bitty bikini and he STILL didn't write back….it does NOT mean you need to re-evaluate every nuance of your self image and wardrobe selection. It's quite simple: Not everyone is as available as you THINK they are (or how they make themselves out to appear) so STOP taking EVERYTHING so damn seriously! I'm fed up with seeing friends (especially FEMALE friends) quit good dating sites simply because they let their feelings (and egos) get hurt. Keep a positive attitude and keep motoring people - you eye should be on the finish line…and that's getting out, and getting off with love in hand!

How to Tell If A Girl Really Likes You - Surefire Signs She Digs You

Guys are really funny. While most of them like to look cool, calm and collected - most of you are reduced to rubble when you meet a girl you really like, and aren't sure if she's feeling the same way. Yes, it's true - girls are more emotional, touchy feely and sentimental, but when it comes to simple flirting and conversational jujitsu, most men get tied up in knots when it comes to chatting it up with a really attractive woman. I've had some really funny conversations with friends after leaving a bar or a restaurant about some of the stuff that guys will say while hunting for a phone number, or a compliment, and to say that we giggle over some of the goofy ways some of you try to score, well that would be a huge understatement! So here are a few things YOU should look out for when you come across a REALLY hot girl you really want to get to know, but aren't sure if she is feeling quite the same way.

  1. Body Language: This is numero Uno, boys! I can spot a woman who is hot for a guy from across the room or a mile away. If she leans in, self touches her hair or, the MAJOR league giveaway…..occasionally BRUSHES your knee while making a point in conversation - you are in luck, she is really interested! Don't let your friends (or your fear) tell you differently. Body language is a huge part of flirting, and will often tell you she wants more of you before her words will, so keep a keen eye out for this tell tale good sign.
  2. Playing it cool: Yes, we do this too..:-) If she's got that cool eyed stare going in the other direction while you are chatting with her friends, this could be a good thing. I've done this, and so have lots of the girls I know! It's a subtle difference between TOTALLY disinterested and staring at the wall, and pretending to be interested in that NASCAR race up on the TV bar! Here is a good way to check her "real interest" level. If you are chatting with her friends and she is giving you the cool routine - mention that you have to get back to your friends, or are heading home pretty soon.   3. Here is another big one: If you are at a bar and she makes ANY mention of someone you were talking to earlier in the night, or if she sees another group of women scoping you and your friends out and makes an insulting comment about them (or you if you hook up with them) you are getting those JEALOUSLY glands kicked into high gear. Remember, no matter how hot you think she is, she is just as insecure as everyone else. Want to be bold and take a chance, let her know there is NO WAY you would think about hooking up with anyone else in the place if you've got even a small chance of getting her digits. You are going to make her feel like the most special girl in the room (big points for you) AND show you are assertive and know what you want. I don't care how many Oprah episodes you may have seen that say otherwise - we ALL want a bold and assertive guy who knows what he wants and likes to take a risk! I know I do!

So next time you are out - or even with that girl who lives in the apartment next door, look out for these simple signs she is in to you. The ball is in your court!

Who May Be Taking Online Dating a LITTLE too Seriously?

Don't  you just hate these industry stuffed shirt types?  I just came across this post in my feed reader this morning about online dating demographics, details and a whole host of other commentary on how the finding love experience can be improved for all.  Now I know this is sort of an online dating trade kind of rag - more for the commerce types I guess, but jeez…what a whiny, complaining nerdski!   Why can't my dating site do this?  Why can't my dating site do that?  What a downer.  LUST.jpgGet out there and have some fun you nudnick.  You've already depressed the hell out of me and it's only 11 am.  You can read the whole story at the link below.

Think about the search process. I enter in my search criteria or fire up a saved search, which I probably created months ago and have no idea what the search parameters are.Browsing the results, I choose to click on a few people. Of those, I may email one or two and add a few more to my hotlist. What does a dating site learn about the people I click on in search results? How does that information relate to the people I actually email?Why can’t my search habits be used as fodder for emails from my dating site telling me to try new things? Why can’t Match create a custom Saved Search based on how I use the site, restricting, relaxing or adding new search criteria based on my usage patterns?How come I never get an email telling me to revise my saved searches? Why do I have to seek out and struggle through a generic FAQ/Help/Magazine to read editorial content and the same damn “10 steps towards better online dating.”
